Leroy M. Nyberg, MD, PhD, Urology Director, National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK), National Institutes of Health (NIH) is retiring. As the ICA's liaison to the NIDDK, for the past 20 years, Dr. Nyberg helped us better understand the inner workings of NIH and kept us apprised about NIDDK research priorities. We are grateful for his generous support and assistance.

We are pleased to report that Chris Mullins, PhD, Director, Basic Cell Biology Program, including the MAPP initiative, will replace Dr. Nyberg as the official liaison between the NIDDK and ICA.
